You may of course challenge any member of the committee if you feel you could do a better job. Please add nominations (ask and gain the agreement of the person first please) or put your name forward by replying to this post. We will create voting forms if they are needed for the AGM or have an online poll of all the Full Members.

The existing committee is : (name and the area they lead)

Worlds Team

John Lawton
Neil Spacagna
Pete Ellis (Pete is also world Tasar Council President*)

Mandy Stock, European Tasar Agent

Richard Woodward, Press Officer

Lionel Rigby, Membership Secretary

Nathan Batchelor, Training

Colin Tait, Scottish Tasar Chairman

John Tripp, Web and Chairman

*It is traditional for the chairman of the association hosting the worlds to take on the role of Tasar World Council president. Two factors lead me to request Pete Ellis to take on this role 1) He is very qualified to undertake the role and I am not, 2) Pete was moving to Australia. This we felt would give us a strong position to ensure the 2011 worlds were communicated effectively to the biggest sailing community and for us to learn from them too.

Edited by John Tripp - 07 Sep 2010 at 10:27pm
